Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Points On The Go! LLC. This site is to share how we leverage our everyday spend to travel on points and miles. This includes our blog, mini courses, full courses, and possibly a podcast down the line (all together, the "Services"). These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) provide the rules for using our website at www.pointsonthego.com (the "Site") and the Services. By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't, please step away—no hard feelings.

  • Who We Are and How to Contact Us.

Points On The Go is operated by Points On The Go, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company. Got questions about these Terms? Drop us a line at shannon@pointsonthego.com.

  • Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 (or the required age in your country) to use this website. You will be required to create an account using the correct information to access some of its features. It is up to you to ensure that you maintain the safety of your login information and all activities associated with your account. We may suspend or close accounts at any time if they breach these Terms.

  • Using the Services

Our Services are for your personal, non-commercial education on points, miles, and travel rewards. Feel free to read blog posts, take courses, or engage in discussions. That said, this is all for informational purposes only—education at your own risk. We're not guaranteeing any specific results, like how many points you'll earn or trips you'll take. Outcomes depend on your situation, and we make no promises.

Don't reproduce, distribute, or sell our content without our written permission—it's our intellectual property (more below). We might tweak, pause, or end parts of the Services with notice (or without, if it's for safety or legal reasons).

  • Important Disclaimers: Not Advice, Risks Involved

This is key—please read carefully. The Site and Services provide general educational info on earning travel rewards through spending. We're not offering financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or medical advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to apply for credit cards, take on debt, or make any financial moves. Always consult a qualified professional (like a financial advisor or accountant) for your personal situation.

Credit cards and debt come with inherent risks, like high interest, fees, overspending, credit score impacts, or even financial hardship. Using this info to chase points or miles? That's entirely at your own risk. We're not liable if things don't go as planned—you decide what to do with it.

Our content isn't personalized and doesn't account for your unique circumstances. No guarantees of earnings, savings, or travel perks—results vary wildly.

  • Referral and Affiliate Links

We may include referral links to credit card issuers, travel partners, or other services (e.g., "Apply now and earn bonus points!"). These let us earn a commission or bonus points if you sign up or make a purchase—it's how we keep the lights on. We only share what we genuinely like, but we're not endorsing or guaranteeing those products. Check their terms, do your homework, and remember: any decisions (and risks) are yours.

Down the road, we might add affiliate or advertiser links too. Same deal—we disclose them clearly, but we're not responsible for third-party sites, offers, or what happens after you click.

  • Your Content

Share your thoughts via comments, course forums, or user submissions (your "User Content"), and you own it. But by posting, you give us a free, worldwide license to use, display, and share it to run the Services (e.g., featuring your travel story in a blog roundup). Promise your stuff is original, legal, and not harmful. We're not liable if others misuse it, and it becomes public once posted.

  • What You Can't Do

Keep things positive and legal! Don't use the Services to:

  • Break laws or harass others.

  • Spam, hack, or attempt to cause harm to the Site.

  • Post fake info, scams, or anything promoting illegal schemes (like credit fraud).

  • Share private course materials or create fake accounts.

We will be able to delete the content or block those who do it, and that is all.

  • Payments and Subscriptions (If Applicable)

Certain features may be money-based, such as high-quality courses. The Site displays prices, and we will bill your payment method (through safe payment processing systems such as Stripe). We will automatically renew or cancel subscriptions. We do not provide refunds after the 7-day trial period. However, if you cancel during this time, we will prorate charges accordingly. See our policy on refunds.

  • Our Intellectual Property

The cool stuff on the Site, all videos, text, designs, photos, and code, is our property or that of our partners. You are permitted to view this content for educational purposes, but not to download, remix, or pass it off as your own unless we instruct you to do so.

  • No Guarantees

We provide the Services "as is." They may contain bugs, and we are not claiming to offer 100% uptime, nor that will they answer every need. The education information is merely informational- not medical, legal, or financial counseling.

  • Our Liability

We are not liable for indirect damages, such as time spent studying or device-related issues, to the extent permitted by law. We will not charge you more than you were charged in the past 12 months.

  • Ending Things

You may cancel the Services at any time. These Terms give us the ability to terminate your access. Thereafter, you will lose features and content.

  • Changes to These Terms

We will update them when necessary and place the revised version here. Remember to check back and you'll receive updates via email.

  • Governing Law

These Terms follow North Carolina laws (no fancy conflicts). Disputes go to courts in Wake County, NC and you consent to that jurisdiction.
